April Spotlight Artist Chrystal Hutton
Our April spotlight artist is Chrystal Hutton from Houston, TX. Chrystal is a makeup artist that specializes in pageant, production, headshots, bridal and weddings, special occasions, fashion, hairstyling, tattoo cover up makeup lessons and certified tanning. Chrystal lives in Houston so we get to work and see her a lot so we LOVE that. What made you decide to be a makeup artist? It's what made me fully happy. I love that feeling of seeing my client's reaction when I turn the mirror around and for that split second nothing else matters but that look on their face.
What are some of the questions you need to ask yourself before you decide to be a makeup artist? Can I really make money doing makeup? How am I going to get clients? Do I have what it takes to do this?
Tell us about your business? I currently offer Spray Tanning, Hair and Makup. Soon to be adding lash extensions & brow lamination.
What has been your favorite event/client so far? I can honestly say I don't have a favorite because I love what I do. They all mine so much to me.
How did you learn about The Perfect Face? Instagram
Tell us about meeting Danielle for the first time? It was incredible meeting her. Like a little kid in a candy store. Also, very nervous because I wasn't familiar with her makeup brand and all the names of colors. I'm horrible remembering names. Everything and everyone have nicknames.
What did you like about the course? How detailed Danielle is during the whole course. She goes over the business side which I needed more help on and at times still do. I love the fact that I can contact Danielle with questions even after years of taking her course.
Would you recommend this course to other students? I highly recommend it!!!!!!!!
What is your favorite TPF Cosmetics product? The foundations!! They absolutely last all day and look incredible on. My bodybuilding clients love them as much I do.
