Are You Cleaning Your Brushes Correctly?

We want your TPF brushes to keep their shape and last as long as possible! It's really important to take care of them and clean them properly! If taken care of properly the life of your TPF brushes should be 10-15 years! No joke!

First, it's important to know if your brush is round or flat. This will help you know which direction (circular or back and forth) to clean your brushes. See the video below.

Once you have cleaned them lay them flat on the a clean cloth so they can air out. NEVER put them upright after cleaning because this will cause the moisture to run down into the ferrule and loosen the glue at the heel of the brush. Over time this will weaken your brush.

We suggest getting a drying rack like the one DeLaney Henry uses below. Or again you can just lay them out flat on a clean towel.
