Easy Breezy Summer Cocktails

Raspberry Strawberry -Frozen Prosecco Mimosas From My Dayly Kitchen @mydaylykitchen


Ingredients 

  • 1 bottle Prosecco
  • 4 strawberry popsicles
  • 1/2 lb strawberries
  • 1/2 lb raspberries
  • 1 tsp lemon zest

Instructions

  • Dice the strawberries and lightly mash a half of the raspberries and add about a teaspoon of each into a wine glass
  • Place one popsicle in each glass and pour prosecco slowly into the glass, about 1 1/2 cups of prosecco in each drink
  • Top with a sprinkle of lemon zest, stir the popsicle a few times around and enjoy!

Cocktail Contessa -Blueberry Bourbon Smash   @cocktailcontessa

INGREDIENTS

2 oz bourbon whiskey

  • 1/2 large lemon, quartered, peel on
  • 1 oz blueberry sage simple syrupplain blueberry is stellar in this as well
  • 5 large sage leaves
  • 1/4 oz amaro optional – I used Cynar
  • Top off with lemon seltzer very optional
  • Garnish: fresh sage sprig, lemon/raspberry/strawberry sorbet popsicle.

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a cocktail shaker, muddle lemon and simple well.
  • Add sage, muddle, then add bourbon whiskey and amaro.
  • Add ice, shake hard, strain in a rocks glass or fancy humongous wine glass filled with ice.
  • Top with lemon seltzer if you want a lighter cocktail.
  • Garnish with sage and popsicle.
